previous job was 50 km away-- it's an 1,5 hour drive :(

i've always found it frustrating when i drive back home from paris-- that you can reach the dutch border in 2,5 hours, and then it still takes 2,5 to 3 hours to get home for the last 107 km.

Nay, that yesterday was totally out of the ordinary, I feel very save in Berlin in general and in F'hain (my extended living room, a bit messier than my actual one and overwhelmingly populated by nice people) in particular. I'm in a biscuit mood today...

Lookit, Green Peas Biscuits
Ingredients:

130 gm. deep-fried green peas (availabe in bakery marts)
130 gm. icing sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
150 gm. plain flour
100 gm. groundnut oil

1 egg yolk for glazing

Method:

(1) Place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix till a dough is formed.
(2) Roll down between 2 sheets of plastic and roll out. Use a plain round cookie cutter to cut the cookies and place onto baking tray.
(3) Brush with egg glaze.
(4) Bake at 170C for about 15 - 20 mins or till cooked.
(5) Cool completely before storing into cookie containers.
