I like fried green tomatoes too - but these were mostly little cherry size things, and not too many either. It just didn't seem worth the effort. I was mostly mad at the tomatoes for not performing better during the mostly cloudy summer we had this year, too, so I gave up on them around October.

Favorite memory! My dear, dear dad discovering that our sort of crazy cat had got into the garage where the turkey was waiting to be put into the oven. Tuffy (the cat) had a little nosh on the bird. We still cooked and ate the turkey.

I think it was the retro green jello salad I made from my mother's recipe that she got from her mother. It had pineapple and nuts and marshmellows in it - and it was topped with Miracle Whip and cheddar cheese! (yuck) I loved seeing the kid's faces when they finally got brave enough to try it.
"Mom, that is the most revolting thing I've ever eaten!":D

Mostly wind - had fun watching my neighbors leaves blow back into their yards!!! They were waiting for the city to suck the leaves up and take them away (the city doesn't but says they will) . I just rake 'em and drag 'em to the river bank and let them compost.
