Its as simple as one who shares your values and morals. Sense of Humor mandatory. Puns deleted automatically. see? thats it. If thats not what you're looking for, you are intercoursing the proverbial canine.

And, if you find a guy in all other ways perfect but don't like him That Way, don't waste his time. It's cruel. I can't stand watching women lead guys around for ages (fie on the guy who's dumb enough, too) waiting for her to feel That Way about him. How would you like someone to feel about you? If you don't feel that way about him, don't waste his time.

Think about it- your friends. Look at them. Did you put out a personals ad to find them? Probably not. Did you tell someone that you knew- "hey, I'm looking for a friend that is a reality TV junkie, likes Thai food and lets their dog sleep in bed. And absolutely has to a Sagitarius."? If you did, you are talented, gifted even. And shallow.
For me, this was just a happy accident. You get thrown together enough as little kids & 24 years later you are letting her perform acupuncture on you to relieve your kidney pain as she reminds you about the time you accidentally knocked over a cup of Hawaiian Punch onto her new clothes she received for her 9th birthday. And you gleefully tell her that the Girl Scout Leader's brat daughter went to jail for a few years. Gotta love the Saggitarius. ;)

It's hard to find someone, period. Personals or not. You've done all the traditional things like join a book club, volunteer w/homeless animals, hang out at cool places like the library & art museum, taken a cooking class, etc? It's a jungle out there. Good luck.

And if you find Jon Lovitz, send him my way, please.

Subway borrowed him. Talk to Jared if you want him back.

Count yourself lucky. My friend met someone on eHarmony. Despite the tests and all, she got linked up with a very eager sort. After she knew him for only a couple of months, he took her ring shopping, and it freaked her out. Needless to say, they are done.

pfp- thanks for asking, but I actually took the profile off before I had to pay for it. gave me the heebie jeebies.

so I'm back to juggling in public parks, sailing when I can, and general bouncing around- talking to strangers, petting strange dogs and being open to the world- I've had incredible luck with that before. I should just trust it.

and I've decided to foster kittens for a bit. they need a home and I could use a little furball around to keep me grounded. wonderful little conversationalists, even if they are a bit young.

:)
