i went into the lego shop the other day. what a disappointment. it was far more fun when i was a kid. now it's all sets to make particular things... where's the imagination??

Try going into the Lego section in the HUGE Toys R Us store in Times Square. I absolutely loved it!!! Not only do they have the "usual" sets of things, but they also have a pick-your-own pieces section, where you can choose lego pieces in colors I've never seen before. Needless to say, I picked up a handful or two.
