Unemployed Monkeys Unite...
I don't have to go to work tomorrow. No Ms. McWallstreet for me. Didn't pass a test. I just don't understand options. Sue me. Wait, no, fire me. Oh wait, don't.
I liked my job. They were requiring me to become registered which I wanted no part in, but worked at as hard as I could. I'm depressed, but hey, I had some new firsts today. - First time applying for unemployment. - First time being fired. - First time I've ever had a boss hug me (She didn't want me to go...I was actually a damn fine workerbee...it was just the requirements that kicked my ass out). |
aw, beck :(
now get your ass back there and ask for a letter of recommendation from your huggy boss! :) |
Ugh - been there, sweets.
Do what Frieda said - then take what you do know and get an even better yob!!! Better yet - use your time being unemployed to learn new skills ('swhat I did) - you may even be able to qualify for educational funds to take classes that will enhance your current skills. Don't get gloomy, whatever you do. Keep trying everything you can think of! |
Rats.
Something good will come of it though. |
any plans to re-take the test? i have a friend who went through the same thing a year ago. failed the first time and her job put her on a probationary status pending a second try. the second time she barely squeaked by, by only a couple of points.
don't feel bad, she read me some of the questions and they were total gibberish to me. i'm impressed with anyone who can make it as far as registering for the test i the first place. |
God is a nag.
