Flip flaps remind me of southeast asia.
Everybody does everything in flips flaps and shorts there.

I remember wondering why you would see a lot of dudes with egg shaped burn marks on their calfs. Then someone told me that those were exhaust pipe burns caused by riding motorcycles in your flip flaps.

Riding motorcycles in flip flaps gives me a happy :)

It's "calves."

But it should clearly be "flip-flaps." That's the noise they make. And they neither flip nor flop under normal circumstances. So you have one up on us there, Frenchie. :D

Sometimes Americans get a happy when they come to Australia and discover that we call flip flops, 'thongs'.

Hehehe...that gave me a happy, and I'm not even in Australia. :D

Thongs, though they are sometimes a necessity for certain clothing, do not give me a happy in general. Sorry.

Flip flops do, though. One of my friends calls me the flip flop queen. Near as I can get to bare feet and not cut my feet on parking lot glass...

That the sun is finally shining again and that I saw this beautiful fox (H.Fox you been that strolling around Sanssouci Castle, Potsdam?? - admit it! ;)) running out of the wood - and (s)he being fast enough to jump back before getting hit by a car.

Trains

(OK, on this one - Transsib - have not been on yet. But I want, want, want to!!)

(One of my favs - Leipzig)
too - always have: Motion, the state of transition from here to there, all sorts of people, guess that is it.

Trains rolling gave me the biggest happy today!
(We had nation-wide strikes yesterday and last Tuesday - so I acknowledge moving trains big time again.)
