^I enjoyed that.

Several sources now say the war in Iraq will end up costing $1 trillion
dollars when all the costs are accounted for. How much is $1 trillion
dollars?

If you have a stack of money six inches high, comprised of the
appropriate bills to make it worth $1 million dollars, then you would
need to stack these 6 inch-million dollar piles next to each other for
95 miles to get to $1 trillion dollars.

To put it another way, if a marathon runner takes 3 foot long strides,
then she runs past $6 million dollars every stride. She would have to
run more than three and one half marathons at $6 million a stride to get
to a trillion dollars.

Sadly, this is a major attraction in the town where I live.

It is considered good luck to "rub the monkey."

Apparently even Napoleon rubbed the monkey here in Mons...

craig johnston 03-28-2006 02:54 PM

dinzdale likes to rub his monkey.

"Once, in a battle between the states of Chu and Song, the troops of the two sides were confronting each other in a fight at close quarters. Yiliao appeared in front of the Chu troops and calmly, in the face of the enemy's axes and spears, juggled nine balls at the same time. His superb performance stupefied the officers and warriors. The Song troops fled helter-skelter without fighting and the Chu troops won a complete victory."

Chris Bliss as head of the UN?? Standing between two fighting parties. Perhaps he can use the national anthems to make his act even more impressive.

Get some of this stuff - spray it on a paper towel and wipe down the kitties (they won't mind, it's like extra pats ;) ) It will remove dander, which is what people are usually allergic to. Also lightly spray the furniture and anywhere the kitties like to hang out.

I use this stuff whenever my mom or other allergic people are coming to visit - it really works! When I use it, my mom only gets a reaction when she actually picks up the cats, pets them and then touches her eyes... so she doesn't do that. :)

ELAINE: Do it like this. "These pretzels are making me thirsty."
JERRY: No. "These pretzels are making me thirsty."
KRAMER: No, no. See, that's no good. See, you don't know how to act.
GEORGE: "These pretzels are making me thirsty!!"

The way subcutaneous fat is sometimes depicted just gives me the creepiolas. Same with looking at it in real life, if there's a wide gaping expanse of it. I'm not sure why. For some reason it just looks a lot more graphic than a lot of the other stuff inside of us.

jasmina 04-05-2006 08:27 PM

especially in women... we seem to have more of it. Lucky us.

I know what you mean - it kind of looks like something I won't mention here 'cos - yuck. Then again - it kind of looks like something else that isn't so bad but I won't mention it 'cos I don't want you thinking of this everytime you encounter it.

Okay - 'nuff of that - fluffy bunny time!!!

ambo 04-05-2006 09:06 PM

Poor thing.
