auntie: When I first listened to "Chocolate Rain" last night, I started out thinking:

"Hmm, that's a pretty cool piano line - I wonder what comes next?"

Which then steadily progressed towards a:

"Wtf? Is this a parody of something?? Oh my god, this guy is actually serious."

I had a similar experience when I started watching an episode of CSI Miami.

in the opening sequence of "the simpsons movie" we see a moon lander in outer space. the guy sitting a few seats away from me yells, "OH YEAH! HOMER WAS AN ASTRONAUT!" into the relatively quiet theater.
