The silly things that go wrong in life
 

I'm one of those clumsy people that are always falling, getting hurt, or in the strangest predicaments imaginable. So much so that I often find myself thinking "this is the worst day ever!" :( Of course whenever you talk to someone about days (or things) like that, they seem really trival, and then you think "well that wasn't so bad, coulda been worse." :rolleyes:

So this is the thread where we can share all those things that go wrong so we can move past them and feel better, and help others feel better also. :)

I'll go first :)

Today, as I was walking into the pub to meet my dad and brother for lunch, some lady leaving the restroom slammed the door into my face by mistake. Then I went to give the dogs a bath, and got lik 165,482 misquito bites. I got a few more as I was cleaning the birdcage...plus I cut my thumb because the poop tray slipped out of my hand. Then as I was taking a shower, I fell, resulting in a scrapped leg, sliced hand, a terribly bruised bottom, and a bump on my head. Now I'm about to head out the the grocery store, where someone will steal random things out of my cart, because that what happens to my every week.

I feel much better already...;)

I just accidentally insulted the person that was offering to help get me a laboratory job next year.

I apologized, but I still felt bad.

Oh well. I probably made the situation much worse in my head. :rolleyes:

I just made a pot of coffee without emptying out the coffee from yesterday so it overflowed all over the counter and floor. :(

at the grocer's: forgot biscuits

something weird happened to my computer yesterday afternoon...I don't know what it is, no virus, no spyware! It's just acting strange, and stupid, and I'm angry cuz I cant use my Internet Explorer...only Firefox...:mad:

there has been toilet water in my office for 3 days and management has done nothing...:(

I hope I'm not going to regret asking...

3 days ago one of the urinals in the mens' restroom overflowed and crept into our office and soaked the carpet. It's not really "dirty", but it's toilet water none the less...

I bought an AC/DC (not the band) fan for my home/boat so I could sleep easier on these soon to be hot summer evenings...the stupid thing was missing the AC adapter.

oh woe is me

I'll have to return it now for an exchange...is this instant karma for shopping at *gasp* Walmart?
