I'm just curious as to what people have set as their homepage.

Mine is www.nascar.com.

Let's go ahead and get this out of the way...yes, I am a redneck I guess. I live in Georgia, I drive a truck, I like country music (among a lot of other styles as well), I believe in God, I like fried green tomatoes, and every Sunday I sit on the sofa and watch those guys race around in circles. Some would say that's all the major requirements for redneck-hood.

It's very new - just a daily decompression diary of thoughts, enthusiasms, frustrations, and links to favorite things and people on the web. Probably not a great read right now, because I'm trying to do too many hard things currently and I get pretty depressed so that's what shows up. But it's pretty much the real me, if anyone was interested. :p

Actually, I think I'm going to post a link to the aria I worked on in my voice lesson today - it went pretty well so my teacher just let 'er rip. :) If anyone's interested it'll probably be in tomorrow's post. (Or maybe late tonight if I still feel motivated after watching the season premiere of "Buffy".)

One of these days I'm going to get my act together and make it more like a personal website... 'til then it's just my sloppy blog. :D

Wow. You guys must think I'm really narcissistic. Nope. Just anxious & lonely. :) And curious, which is why it's Google - I have lots of questions.

mine, too, is google. most of the time, when i get on my computer it's because i want to find something out. it's led to a reputation as the person who knows the most random useless crap (I made it into the final round of The Weakest Link tryouts in Houston two summers ago. I'm still convinced that I was only eliminated because I was 18 and one month, but look 16. They probably thought Anne would make me cry. Hey, they may have just thought I was boring or stupid, but my reason made me feel better.)

And DarkPadawan- I dated a redneck once. And I like fried green tomatos. True, I usually eat them on a spring greens salad with vinaigrette dressing and rosemary biscuits on the side (a meal I recommend to all), but that doesn't take away from the fact that I love them!

Google- for a number of reasons... It loads super fast, no pop up windows, and with google, I can find anything else on the web.


Even though he was an enemy of mine, I had to admit that what he had accomplished was a brilliant piece of strategy. First, he punched me, then he kicked me, then he punched me again.

This may sound a bit strange, especially in these media-driven times, but I don't have a television. haven't for a while and I don't think I ever will. That means I don't get a daily dose of CNN garbage and I don't get local news/weather either. And this will explain my homepage....the weather network. (www.theweathernetwork.com) It gives me up to date local weather and if I'm feeling particularly lazy and can't bring myself to open a window, there's even a webcam.
