Ohh.. Zero's tree is my favorite by far..

Ok.. we had this tree mailed to us the other day by Colin's Mum. I used cat toys at first, as you can see, because I didn't think we had any ornaments. But then I realized we do have ornaments..

I know there's nothing on the top. I'll probably use one of Colin's Star Wars toys. But I also welcome advice.....

Frieda 12-18-2007 04:50 PM

i hope those cat toys dont have catnip or your tree will be destroyed soon :D

use ribbons! and cookies

cookies tied on ribbons :)

Ours (at my grandparents' place) will be similar to that one (i.e. quite traditional)

but with fairy lights (white lights of course) and not only red but also cream-coloured and golden balls, and instead of the straw stars we have wooden figures, angles in cream-coloured dresses with golden wings and such round gold-coloured metal things showing silouttes of Christmasy motifs.

I would also fancy these ones though:

:D

^ Damn, I'd love one of them. I already have one for this year, though. I have a photo but I can't find the cord to get it off the camera. Well, I could find it, but that would involve actually looking, which would require me to get up.

For those of you with lots of space in the living room ;)

I heart the cat toy tree.

Here's mine. Sorry 'bout the camera phone and poor framing; I'm out of batteries and also lazy.

I like our li'l Charlie Brown tree, sitting on the end table. It's a potted Norfolk pine, so no guilt.

I have a collection of Polish, Czech, and Russian glass ornaments that I've been collecting for a long time, and I used to hang those on greenery swags, but what with the cats and the boy, those have been in a box for a few years.

Frieda 12-19-2007 12:33 PM

aww yours looks nice too! :)

my cat has never been very interested in the tree-- we suspect she might've tried to fish one of the ornaments out and got scared by the thing falling down. turbo does play with the decorations on the presents under the tree though... especially ribbons!

i loathe the upside-down christmas tree thing. loathe!

i don't like our tree this year. i can't explain why. it just isn't working for me. i'd much rather show you last year's tree. with the explanation that we had only just moved in to this place 2 days before this picture was taken. thus, no drapes yet.

so here's 2006. also, is it just us or has anyone else turned LOTR into a christmas movie?

oh okay, you can see this year's tree. it's inferior, though. inferior through and through. it's scrawny or something. i don't know, i miss 2006's tree.

Frieda 12-20-2007 04:31 AM

that's exactly the same tree! same ornaments, different places! and i think both are pretty! :)
