Because this image brings me such pure joy and laughter every time I see it (I adore this kitty more than words can explain) when I log on at work, here's my desktop wallpaper (at work):

i have a standard windows wave thingy as a background here at home with too many icons on it-- the one at work can't be adjusted and refers to the fact that you have to lock your workstation when you leave your desk. boring!!

I can't change my background at school, but at home I have this:


I know what you mean, I get such a happy whenever I see it and I have to smile every time I see that the wolf has snow on its nose. :)

I currently have up a hand-drawn depiction of some children watersliding in the back yard complete with painstaking renditions of the shrubbery, and owing to the season should probably soon change to a hand-drawn depiction of a dog and a girl making snow angels together. :)

I usually have the default black background, but during the phd defense i used this one

I have a Bionicles battle scene, because my son figured out how to change the settings.

I have enlisted the help of a large group of people who scour the internet daily to find me some of the best, funniest, artistic, mind-bending photos to use for my desktop backgrounds, which i change frequently.
