PUNK KITTENS

Call me a dork, but the punk kittens cracked me up.

american versions of british shows...

like Queer As Folk and Coupling, for example - two very good programmes - until the Americans get the idea. Instead of just showing our programmes like we do with theirs, no they have to make their own version! I saw a bit of Queer As Folk USA and its sooo not as good as the British one I couldn't watch on! I hate to think what Coupling is gonna be like without a Welsh Jeff! I know this ain't really related but, come on, you don't see us making our own versions of Friends and Sex In The City. If you can get hold of the original British versions of these shows, you should do cause they're great! Now don't take this the wrong way, I love America, but this is insulting!

saskuoch 10-06-2002 12:45 PM

Hey, it's nothing to get your panties in a twist about. It's just that we think we're better than you. ;)

ZeFanJess86UK 10-06-2002 12:54 PM

and the punk kittens are kind of funny but not best example of brit humour...mind u its summin u could find graham norton talking about on his show! imo

Punk Kittens

Well UK maybe you should give me a little credit I didn't think the "Punk Kittens" were the best example of British humor. I actually don't think they are the best example of humor in general, but actually what is?

I take it for what it is silly chuckle stuff.

Gosh you Brits are so damn serious. I thought Prince Charles was the best example of British humor :)

saskuoch -- How's Hong Kong treating you? I haven't had anymore run in's with massive bugs so I'm happy.

ZeFanJess86UK 10-07-2002 01:26 PM

i ain't serious just the phrase 'silly brit wit' seems like its slagging it off! And prince charles don't half make a fool of himself sometimes

trigger happy tv

I've been bustin' a gut over this show on Comedy Central. I think it's one or two guys and they do Candid Camers/Jackass kinda things only funny.

I don't get Graham Norton. Is he only about disgusting people or what?

rmr 10-07-2002 06:14 PM

Viking Kitty's

Now this one is really cracking me up. It's soooooo awful that it's hillarous.

I love how the boat bobs up and down.

Viking kittens

This is the funniest kitten animation on that site.
I recognize the little orangey-red kitten from the rate my kitten site.

ZeFanJess86UK 10-08-2002 04:09 PM

graham norton isnt about disgusting ppl that much really, its just weird ppl don't have to be sex-related and stuff, and audience tell him bad things sumtimes sex-related that have happened to them, he talks with celebs and stuff. he's v.funny

rmr 10-08-2002 04:44 PM

Grahm Norton

I love Graham Norton, I think he's great. I love to see how the celebtrites react and I love to see how people in the audience admitt things that I never could.

Jess: FYI Coupling is coming to BBC America on Sundays nights, I will check it out. And just a tidbit of gossip for you on read on the mirror online that yes, I repeat, yes, that the English are coming up with there own version of Sex and the City....ha!! :D

All kidding aside my friends and I have talked about it we love your version of trading spaces, ab fab, etc. They tried to do some show like ab fab on CBS a couple of years ago and it completely sucked. I will say that you guys are more adventerous with your humor. We allow any sort of violence on TV, but when it comes to silliness that's when the censors can't take it.

I'm a huge fan of your television programing....GOD BLESS BBC AMERICA!!

ZeFanJess86UK 10-08-2002 04:47 PM

our own version of Sex In The City..hmm that'll be rubbish then..we already show the original, and maybe it means we're doing summin like it, like coupling was supposed to be the new friends (heh - yeh right lol).

saskuoch 10-09-2002 11:02 AM

it's been a while since i read this bulletin board, but

rmr- thanks for asking. Hong Kong's great. My roommates friend is over his case of dengue fever, so life is good again :).

red 10-09-2002 03:31 PM

so graham norton

I've tried watching the show twice and within 10 minutes it's resorted to bathroom humor and audience member discussing how they had sex with the parents unexpectedly coming home. It seems all about shock value.
