At work 3 of us can cause utter havoc by repeatedly whistling the main rif from "Mission Impossible" and we all start 5 seconds after each other .It drives the partners frigging crazy.They try to ignore it but we carry on regardless .We know we will get a response before to long and like kids....thats all we want ...a bit of attention:)

I guess I'm a bit like Stevie....

I used to start singing a song on the quiet side near my older sister until she picked it up and started singing it. I then stopped and waited awhile.

She of course had no idea how that song got stuck in her head. Then I'd tell her "I started singing it and then you started singing it" and she wouldn't believe me and get mad.

For some god forsaken reason, the radio played My Heart Will Go On. And it just won't go awayyyyy:(

Steps to follow if you need to get a song out of your head:

1) Learn the words in their entirety. I don't just mean "gain a passing familiarity"... I mean "memorize to the point where you could perform them on stage", because the next step is...

2) Sing the words at your local coffeeshop's open mic nite.

3) Run away protecting crucial body parts from thrown, tossed, or otherwise hurled coffee mugs.
