visiting in afew weeks and am looking for good places to dance, upcoming shows, galleries, etc. You know the stuff you don't find in Times Sq....

been to CBGB's, maybe I'm too old now... looking for dance, disco, salsa, hell, even 80's night can be fun on occaision.

Tribeca Rock Club, Knitting Factory, Mercury Lounge ... those all might interest you (I'm not big on dance clubs, too old) ... but I've heard the live shows are great.
