introduce new beers

it's Round-Up wknd at UT. i'm guessing it's the wknd where frats and sororities host parties to promote themselves/get wasted and encourage pledgeship. anyway, so my apartment is surrounded by all of these frat houses and, outside, college students are playing volleyball and drinking shitty beer out of kegs and screaming and stuff. it's really loud. and obnoxious

i forget the smooth transition, but let's introduce our favorites. (all the cheap, most popular ones are banned unless you have a really good argument)

light, kind of limey, wheat beer

madasacutsnake, go to google and just type the name of the beer in parenthesis. then click on Images and copy the address, open up a reply and click 'IMG' and enter the address. it'll show up like mine

pretty much all of these, excluding rolling rock. (which i still think is a good, even tho it tastes like weed)

Fat Tire, to the right of Rolling Rock, is fantastic but limited to Texas, I think. maybe some other places, i can't remember

Ta. I would need to drink those before attempting such a thing. You'll have to click a while longer.

Best beers:

Guinness Draught (I like the widget) :) Very nice packaging design with the bottle.
Weihenstephaner (I probably spelled that wrong) Hefewiesbier. Original hefewiezen. Very good stuff from the oldest brewery on earth. Sweetish, would be good with BBQ tri-tip.
Moosehead, from Canada.
SLO Brewing Company Blueberry Ale - better than you would think. Quite good, in fact. Not sweet; aromatic blueberry taste.
Grolsch, the old standby.

Boont Amber ale is one of my faves...My folks live near where it is made. I've had all of those except the Fat Tire. That's a good line up there.

I couldn't find my favorite favorite beer...Death and Taxes...a dark dark sweet and creamy stout/ale.

Here is #2
