The series was a lot closer than the final results show I think. It could have easily gone the other way.
Bu-ut, next stop the Conference Championships!

The encouraging thing was the sportsmanship shown. Kind of gives you hope for the sports world after all. Montreal played it out like true professionals, and the game ended on a friendly note.

Unlike the debacle that unfolded at the end of last night's Red Wings - Flames game. But Detroit won, and that's all I care about there. Stupid farkers Calgary, playing the empty net option to get more scorers out there -- it was a predictable slaughter, and their own damn fault, but that didn't stop 'em slamming into Cujo and trying to start mayhem....

Oh, well -- we all know who won. :)

Think we'll have a Wings/Lightning Stanley Cup Series?
