These rules are simple:

Six trochaic lines WITH THE LAST UNACCENTED SYLLABLE DROPPED:

Four trochees (TUM ta / TUM ta / TUM ta / TUM)
Four trochees
Two trochees (TUM ta / TUM)
Four trochees
Four trochees
Two trochees

AABCCB rhyme scheme:

Lines 1 and 2 rhyme
Lines 4 and 5 rhyme
Lines 3 and 6 rhyme

Remember to drop the last, unaccented syllables of each line!!


EXAMPLE:
