so people, help me out here.. i'm going to see a movie with a friend tomorrow night, and we don't know which one..

I saw Insomnia and was disappointed.
I read Red Dragon and liked the book, but books are always better than the movie.
I haven't seen Potter 2, but I've heard so-so reviews on it.

I would probably go with xXx.

ok so insomnia's not a winner here.. anyone seen Harry Potter 2, Full Frontal or Dog Soldiers yet?

I dunno about Full Frontal, but if I could find it playing anywhere here, I'd be the first in line to see it.

full frontal's playing here since last thursday.. so is harry potter 2 and dog soldiers.. argh this is hard.. maybe i should've let my friend decide.. :rolleyes:

xXx is mindless. if you're in the mood for it, it's a sure thing.

red dragon is... ok. not great, but ok

Harry Potter would be my choice. I've seen them all but Dog Soldiers. Actually though, I would go see the new Bond movie. That's newly out today, at least is here in L.A. Dog Soldiers? I am huge into movies, I see pretty much anything that's released and not rated G (and some of those too). Never heard of Dog Soldiers.

Harry Potter 2: great movie: really a near must see

Full Frontal: surprisingly good. half soft porn, half action flick, half drama, half crime mystery. so what's that, 4 halfs? whatever, it was worth the $9 and 1.5 hours

Red Dragon: good, keeping with the silence of the lambs feel. Ed Norton is awesome in this. overall it's a little lacking, but good.

xXx: not an ambitious movie, did what it tried to do well.

Insomnia: I love Robin Williams, I hate this movie. Sleepy flick.

the bond movie isn't going to be out until january..

dog soldiers's an english movie.. here's what the IMDB has to say about it..

harry potter should be fun.. but it's nearly 2,5 hours!! aaahh!

Dog Soldiers: that's not playing anywhere in LA. I just checked. Makes me think it's likely to be either really really good or really really bad. If you see it, post a quick thumbs up or thumbs down.

hmm, that is kind of a lame selection. Insomnia wasn't that great, I just got the DVD a week ago. If you are into the Harry Potter thing, I would say go see that, I tried to watch the first on on cable yesterday and just couldnt do it. Maybe Red dragon would be the best choice. I think I am going to see 8 Mile tonight..

well it's all we have at the moment.. i've seen everything else..

i do have my doubts about harry potter.. it's too long, and i fell asleep during part 1.. don't know about that yet.

xXx just seems like a simple action movie.. guess i'm going for full frontal..

maybe i'll just order tickets for all of them and pay when i'm picking up the tickets.. for a last minute decision..
