this book is really good so far

hey moel-

that book is really good. I love the story of creating a man from the mind, but that's fictional. It's been awhile since I've picked up Borges.

Looks like you've got the french thing going, save Sagan. Demon haunted world is excellent if only for the baloney kit.

no books purchased today, but someone loaned me Life of Pi which I started this morning.

Hermione 07-12-2004 08:48 PM

ooo I LOVED Life of Pi

trisherina 07-12-2004 09:36 PM

The first half really got my hopes up, but the last half mostly let them down, Pincher Martin style. Great summer beach book though.

moel 07-12-2004 09:49 PM

i started it but never finished it

seemed good

seems to be the bane of this book- good conversation starter leading most folks saying that they could only get to the middle.

I wonder what's in the middle to stop random intelligent men.

Wait. Don't tell me. I'm not to the middle yet.

moel 07-14-2004 10:22 PM

now i have to finish it

Ooo. I love Margaret Atwood. 'Blind Assassin' was good.... Haven't read 'Oryx and Crake' yet but I've read a lot of her others...
