I don't think I have ever been to a Red Lobster...

It is at this resturant called Taylors......down at the beach....

madasacutsnake 02-13-2005 11:58 PM

Home-made crusty crust pizza with baby spinach, big prawns, olive oil and garlic.

tsunamimom 02-14-2005 06:10 AM

There's a little pastry shop here that sells chocolate eclairs as big as a baby's arm and she puts something boozy in the cream... yummy.

Bumping this thread for our new friends.

As an Italian kid, I've eaten all kinds of anchovies over the years. But last night while GBF & I were making dinner before our weekly viewing of Queer as Folk (only 3 episodes left!), he broke out...

Anchovy

Stuffed

Olivessssssssssss

Say it with me. Anchovy Stuffed Olives. You get the salty flavor of the anchovy & it's encased by the briney little green olive & you bite it & OMG!!! It's like a party in your mouth!!!

trisherina 07-19-2005 05:48 AM

those, blue cheese and almond stuffed olives too all highly recommended.

These guys do a great tasting with olives and wines. They flirt nice, too.

karma_queen 07-27-2005 08:05 AM

nigella lawson's chocolate guinness cake

Orgasmic eating aka food porn

On this side of the Pacific:

Meatloaf baked inside an eggplant, then smothered in mushroom sauce made from scratch.

Hot Pot lamb, dunked in sesame sauce w/ a dash of wasabe.

Boiled, plain mussels.

Raw oysters (w/lemon & zingy red sauce, natch)

On the other side:

Mustard-glazed ham

The perfect pork roast

A filet mignon, rare-medium rare, so tender you can cut it with a fork.

Strawberry cheesecake.

Cool Ranch Doritos

Excuse me while I go lie down and cry.

Aphrodite 07-27-2005 12:57 PM

Cheesecake!!!!!!!

Clytie 07-29-2005 12:00 PM

thai food... *mouth waters* to have money to spend on expensive food

beckstra 07-29-2005 12:09 PM

Mild Indian curry with chicken, carrots, onions, and celery on steamed rice does it for me every time.

Same with my father's marinara.

Also, Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream.

madasacutsnake 08-05-2005 02:03 AM

I'll give a really good blow job to the food scientist who invented sour cream and chive rice cakes.

topcat 08-05-2005 03:05 AM

that would be me.

priceyfatprude 03-16-2008 11:30 PM

I am bumping this thread because they are building a SONIC less than one hour from my father's home.

I fully expect never to see him again. With the new kidney, he can eat whatever he wants.

For those who have Sonic near them? What are some of the better things on their menu? What are some things to avoid?

Coffee 03-17-2008 12:43 AM

I hear the hedgehog is good there.

priceyfatprude 03-17-2008 01:05 AM

priceyfatprude 03-18-2008 02:28 AM

He is doing well. Only 1-2 trips back up to the transplant hospital since Halloween.

brightpearl 04-13-2008 12:18 AM

Damn.
I wish I had some cheesecake.

YsaPur EsChomuw 04-13-2008 12:46 AM

I wish I knew what cheesecake tasted like.
I've been thinking about it on and off ever since I saw that episode on Friends. Which was a long time ago.

Jack Flanders 04-13-2008 01:11 AM

It's like a slice of Heaven!!! :) damn, I need cheese cake, too!!!

It's not all that, or a bag of chips. I am one of the few ppl on earth who don't like cheesecake.

I like the Jello No-Bake one, as that is the first "cheesecake" I ever had. Anything else is just trying to be something it's not. ;)

It's not hard to make, I bet you could do it.

auntie aubrey 04-13-2008 09:34 AM

ooooh man cheesecake. remember those old klondike bar commercials where they'd go, "what would you do for a klondike bar?" and the person would do something ridiculous and humiliating just for an icecream treat? i would do any of that stuff for cheesecake, and maybe even some vulgar unmentionable stuff, too.
