if i see that commercial (or shall I say series of commercials) one more time i'm going to find them both and knock their heads together.

i used to *heart* sarah jessica now i'd like to trip her or something and watching her on the emmy's last night made me want to slap her and puke at the same time.

how was that??

what things are causing the anxiety?

I feel the movie "Lost in Translation" was a major disappointment. I haven't been to Japan and found it very hard to connect with.

it's hard to tell really.....it's quite confusing and a bit personal....i'm hoping now that i've expressed my disdain for sarah jessica and lenny i'll be able to get over it.

do you have any advice? have you been through anything like this before?

zero 09-20-2004 12:16 PM

getting it out in the open will help - the worst thing you can do is keep it closed and under wraps

rmr 09-20-2004 12:32 PM

i don't know if it's a good idea to air it out in the open. i think it's best to keep some things under wraps.

zero 09-20-2004 01:48 PM

i think you'll find that's an unpopular opinion, and that open-air airing is the best kind

i think you're wrong. i believe that open air airing would not be looked upon nicely....therefore it would be unpopular.

A U.S. news program played interviews of several soldiers returning home from Iraq. I paused from monitoring message traffic, listening for interesting stories. A young female soldier remarked, speaking of all soldiers in general, “We are all heroes.” I strongly disagree. This is my second voluntary tour since 9/11, but I have yet to perform any acts worthy of the designation “hero”. I fear that the new trend of considering all members of military, police or firefighting units as heroes diminishes the honor due real heroes and will decrease the quality of heroes available in the future.
