Unpopular Opinion

Lenny Kravitz should just shut the hell up. and Sarah Jessica Parker can shove it. GAP too.

red 09-17-2004 01:10 AM

maybe someone should visit the PMS thread?

zenbabe 09-17-2004 01:10 AM

so sarah jesica parker walks into a bar and the bartender says...'hey sarah, why the long face?'

I think her outfit is cute though in that commercial...I bet it would look cute on me if I weighed 30 pounds too....

joppa.gal 09-17-2004 01:44 AM

For us that don't watch much TV, feel like elaborating?

priceyfatprude 09-17-2004 01:49 AM

No, I can't stand Sarah Jessica Parker either. This is from back in her Square Pegs days. It has nothing to do with the fact I could snap her like a twig.

sparticle 09-17-2004 02:05 AM

SJP is not my favorite actress. I just don't like her. The only thing I liked her in was "Mars Attacks", and the only reason I liked her in that was that she got turned into a chihuahua.

amanda 09-17-2004 02:15 AM

I feel like Michael Moore is pissing on his own shoes.

zenbabe 09-17-2004 02:21 AM

Why? Did he do a GAP commercial?

melissa 09-17-2004 02:27 AM

OMG!! Wouldn't that be funny?

I swear, nothing surprises me any more. When I heard "Heroes" on a Microsoft commercial, I realized that everyone has a price. ;)

Sherl Crow is one of the most overrated people in music* ever.

*i say 'people in music' because i refuse to consider her a musician.

trisherina 09-18-2004 02:45 PM

Then she got what she deserves in that prick Lance Armstrong.

melissa 09-18-2004 05:53 PM

I think Jessica Simpson is one of the weirdest people I've ever seen. Her head is so big for her body.

I can't stand what she looks like when she sings especially!!! Her hands. . . her lips. . . they just don't need to move that way. . .

Hermione 09-18-2004 06:04 PM

haha.. her nose bothers me.. and the hair.. *shudders* that hair..

melissa 09-18-2004 06:08 PM

I've only seen her sing once. I was visiting my aunts (the lesbians) and they were watching Ellen and JS was the guest. She sang...was it a Whitney Houston cover? I don't remember, except it was horrid. Everything about it. BAD.

zenbabe 09-18-2004 06:33 PM

I love Sheryl Crow!!!!

Ashley simpson bugs me way worse than Jessica.....

This woman is nails on a chalkboard for me. She embodies every single element of how not to be a strong empowered woman. She is so freakin' dumb that I want to slap her, because I think it's an act -- I mean c'mon, surely NOBODY is that stupid.

it is an act. or at least it used to be, until i guess she got too used to it.

zenbabe 09-18-2004 07:33 PM

Ashley bugs me more...all she does is whine and complain...poor little rich girl...

Is this really an unpopular opinion?

orlando bloom needs to stop being a face and learn how to do some serious acting.

Avalon 09-18-2004 08:24 PM

Someone put a fork in Mel Gibson. He's done.
And yes, this is coming from someone who thought he could do not wrong for 20 years:rolleyes:

I'm sick n' tired of seeing all these ultra rich ballplayers strut their stuff on Cribs (yes, we know you have Scarface ). No offense to sports, but it makes me sick to see how much money these guys make

I think the bee-man that removed the hive next door should be making at least as much a a pro football player sheesh.

In the same vein: sick of people idolizing celebrities when they have the same weaknesses and problems as you and I, only they get paid a boatload for essentially being at the right place at the right time.

I cannot think of one movie star today that is stand-out stellar in his or her acting ... aside from character actors like Buscemi and Ribisi, and they don't get the paychecks half these leading men and women get.

Totally agreed. They (American professional athletes) fvcked up baseball and now they're trying to fvck up hockey. Big, overgrown, spoiled, overpaid babies. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yeah, and I'm tellin' ya -- I don't give a fvck if they throw Courtney Love or MacCaulay Culkin in the cooler -- plenty of people with no money are in a lot worse situations. I don't give a good goddamn if Jennifer Lopez has five kids and fifteen husbands. And I don't care a pinch of shit about Britney Spears.

A friend of mine made the mistake of saying, "Poor Britney Spears -- she's such a victim. She reminds me of Judy Garland."

"Yeah," I said. "Except she can't sing, can't dance, has never made a decent movie in her life, never will and isn't even a little bit likable. Minor differences....."

O-kayyy, hotfooting it over to the PMS thread....

how was that??

Magpie 09-20-2004 11:18 AM

Bravo! Very impressive :)

rmr 09-20-2004 11:56 AM

what things are causing the anxiety?

I feel the movie "Lost in Translation" was a major disappointment. I haven't been to Japan and found it very hard to connect with.

it's hard to tell really.....it's quite confusing and a bit personal....i'm hoping now that i've expressed my disdain for sarah jessica and lenny i'll be able to get over it.

do you have any advice? have you been through anything like this before?

zero 09-20-2004 12:16 PM

getting it out in the open will help - the worst thing you can do is keep it closed and under wraps

rmr 09-20-2004 12:32 PM

i don't know if it's a good idea to air it out in the open. i think it's best to keep some things under wraps.

zero 09-20-2004 01:48 PM

i think you'll find that's an unpopular opinion, and that open-air airing is the best kind
