They are Pomeranians.
They are about 5-7 pounds.
They have tiny little barks and are (atleast mine are) wonderful little pets you can take just about any place.

They are a trifle high maintenance as their fur needs to be brushed regularly, but they aren't big shedders if you do this.

Hard to image that somewhere back in that "thing's" genetic past are wolf ancestors.

*made horrified face*

I generally prefer big dogs, but Pom's are so ridiculously fluffy that they're cute. I would use mine as a pillow. :D
