what company?

It depends on many things.

1. Which company is it?

2. What does that company stand for? (Is it a giant corporation that cares about nothing but profits or is it a privately owned company run by a couple of hard-working, creative people who care about their employees?)

3. What can the company do for you? (Will they allow you to continue your creative work on the side? Will you be permitted to be creative at work? Will you work a lot of overtime? How much will it pay? Will it pay for further education?)

4. What can you contribute to it? (Will your voice matter? Will you be able to effect any real change there?)

5. And finally, who will clean up the turds that Annie leaves on your pillow because she's angry when you come home so late?


There's no question you'd be great at it - I've seen your "educational videos," your boundless creativity with your web site, and your skills as a designer, and I think your self-deprecating, down-to-earth attitude would be very easy for large audiences to connect to - which is probably why you've been asked to do this.

Do what you need to do -- as long as they're not FOR anything you're AGAINST, you deserve the income increase and the exposure.

(As long as it neither goes against anything you believe or interferes with your doing things you feel a need to do in order to continue to create and grow, why not? Those would be the only reasons I could think of for not doing it.)

It's always good to see someone deserving get a big break. You're deserving and if this is your break, go for it!

If you think you'll enjoy it and get fulfillment out of it, go for it!
