I had a female plumber work on my pipes once (don't bother, its too obvious).
Apparently female plumbers don't ascribe to those rules. :mad:

Don't bother buying a snake. You can rent one for a reasonable price and then you can get one with a decent amount of wire to it and get as far as you need to. Ours goes up to 100 feet into a drain.
If you can, get a snake with a motor as it'll save an awful lot of muscle power.
