Audreyvgs 12-13-2004 11:43 AM

She could interview em, but she wouldnt understand a word they said.

sparticle 12-13-2004 01:29 PM

heh heh heh heh....

I might. I learned a fair amount of Strine when I played rugby -- my coach was from Melbourne.

sparticle 12-13-2004 01:31 PM

p.s. They're not naked and they're not 25 and I'd still be very interested in talking to them, so that proves this is a serious book. Sorta. :D

I am watching Sparticle on tv. She is playing in the movie Charade with Cary Grant.
How'd you like a punch in the nose?!

sparticle 12-14-2004 02:46 AM

Hahaha! I love that movie!

drivinmissdaisy 12-14-2004 02:50 AM

Yesterday I met a 9 yr. old Sparticle. She was adorable. She is going to L.A. for casting and I know she will do well.

sparticle 12-14-2004 03:18 AM

awwww! Thanks for thinking of me. :)

(Wait -- was she a rotten kid? If she was a rotten kid no wonder you thought of me! heh heh heh)

bealeblues 12-14-2004 03:25 AM

from what i hear, the little girl was a 9 year old audrey hepburn and was about the most adorable kid ever....

except for lil'beale, of course. but i'm biased.

sparticle 12-14-2004 03:29 AM

Of course you are biased. You BETTER be biased! ;)

No she was wonderful and patient. We did at least 5 outfit, hair and make-up changes and she did not complain a single time. She had so much personality and the camera loved her. It was a photoshoot for her portfolio. I did her hair and make-up.

And she really is a little beale. Imagine beale with long blonde curly hair and those bright blue eyes. She is beautiful. But you will see.

It always amazes me when a child is so mature. I saw an interview with Dakota Fanning on "Good Morning America" last summer and she was absolutely stunning -- she had more poise and presence than most adults, and yet she was all child. She was on with Brittany Murphy to promote that movie they made together this year and I swear she was more together than Brittany for the interview.

drivinmissdaisy 12-14-2004 03:39 AM

Dakota Fanning is adorable.

I loved the movie Man on Fire. She was so cute, and yes so mature.

We loved her in "Taken". We've probably watched the whole thing five times.

Oh, I don't think he'd say anything about her. Ever. He's a gent, even if he is at least as big a sh*thead as either of us. But how could he resist a line like "imagine beale with long blonde curly hair..."?

It's very good. It's Spielberg, but it isn't overblown, feelgood Spielberg. It's very sensitively done and intelligently written, with plenty of depth and several redemptive vignettes and plenty of edge-of-the-seat tension. And a smattering of "hard science" sci-fi to keep us nerds happy. But that's all I'm gonna say. I hate spoilers. :)

drivinmissdaisy 12-14-2004 05:05 AM

Is it scary, I don't like scary. Suspensful even scares me but I can deal with that.

Netflixs here we come.

bealeblues 12-14-2004 05:21 AM

hint taken....

sparticle 12-14-2004 05:25 AM

I love scary, but Mr. Spart does not. Which makes him just a great target for a cold soda can on the back of the neck during the scene right when the creaky old door opens...

MUWAHAHAHAHAHA!

drivinmissdaisy 12-14-2004 05:27 AM

I will try it.

sparticle 12-14-2004 05:27 AM

But if you do that to missdaisy, beale, I will get you for it. That's different. Mr. Spart is captain of his hockey team and if he can't take it, I'll tell his defensemen he screamed when Linda Blair spat the pea soup. Even though he has seen the movie umpty-five times.

drivinmissdaisy 12-14-2004 05:29 AM

I am sure I will be hiding under the covers, I am such a wimp. The Butterfly Effect scared the crap out of me. He was very sweet though.

That's the important thing. :)
