Wow. Just wow. Our numbers are way down, but I don't have exact figures. I just know you will see a lot of empty seats if you're watching a game @ Miller Park.

Also, if you have your phone service through SBC, the Stadium Tax is automatically added to your bill. Sales tax in this & the 4 surrounding counties is higher than elsewhere in the state to help pay for the thing. We were promised we would not be paying for it after 2004. To that I say "HAH!". :mad: The people voted NO for the stadium, the aldermen & others vetoed the vote. Who why vote in the first place? Grrrrrrrrrr. 3 men died building the thing, and the roof leaks. I hate our ****ing stadium. :D

The one thing I will say is that the neighborhoods are not dying off...yet. They're constantly revamping downtown & the Third Ward so it's now a trendy & pricey place to live. They just added a bunch of big stores (Old Navy, etc) to the mall downtown. But let me get back to you in 5 years. ;)
