anyone want to take a crack at some color schemes for the board.

this is ugly as sin.

remember all the buttons can be replaced as well...

I assume you have the full spectrum of colors to choose from, but what are your button choices? Are you planning on designing all new buttons (unlikely), or does vBulletin give you a choice of sets?

I got the impression from the plaintive cries that shook the planet when you upgraded and rolled out that blue/gray scheme that this more-familiar orange has a soothing effect of most of your monkeys, but the stock buttons you have are pretty hokey, and their color scheme definitely clashes with the background palette. What are the options?

(In general, while I agree the color scheme leaves a lot to be desired, the overall clarity/readability/usability of the board is great (IMO).
