With Google, doesn't it work that the more hits you get on your site, the closer your site is listed toward the 1st page?
My sites moved closer to first page as they became more popular, depending on the search words, what is in the meta-tags, and how often the search word is used in the page.
So I would think that people who are searching for "Jewish" would be more likely to find pages on Jewish history and the Holocaust, and people who type "Jew" would be more likely to find stereotypical, or anti-semetic sights, due to the frequency of the often derogatory use of the term.

There are other ways to get to the top of the list.
