okay folks - a hard attempt

i'd like to try and write a short story with a small group of you and document the experience a bit so that I can explore better scenarios for short fiction collaboration (than a message board)...somewhere in the 5 page range...first i'd like to decide on a start point, a theme, and a few characters. the story will be group edited, anyone can write as much as they want and change as much as they want. the story can split off into two directions if necessary. if you are interested, let me know.

This sounds like fun! :)

If you'd welcome me, I'd be happy to.

looks interesting

cool -

i think we'll need a couple more folks - just to make sure.

I'll set up a new forum for this...

start thinkin of ideas you'd like to tackle...this is collaborative in every sense - you can propose entire narrative archs if you want...we can build off of each other...and maybe we should have a side thread to discuss the changes as they are made.

suggestions?

Hyakujo's Fox 03-01-2005 05:49 AM

ok, colour me interested

Me, too.

madasacutsnake 03-02-2005 06:21 AM

Can I come too if I promise not to be a smart-ass? No donkeys, no wrapping paper........

karma_queen 03-02-2005 12:10 PM

i'm in too... what now?

Aphrodite 03-02-2005 12:58 PM

I'd like to try, but I must admit that the idea is a bit intimidating as I've never done a collaborative.

zefrank 03-02-2005 09:23 PM

what now - start thinking about possible themes, settings, characters etc...you might want to tackle and we can start hashing it out...

trisherina 03-02-2005 11:42 PM

Is this a story for adults or a juvenile? For starters.

Marcus Bales 03-03-2005 12:14 PM

Literary fiction or genre fiction?
