Going to the Santa Barbara French Festival (3rd yar in a row) . Performing my can-can laying down on a pendelton blanket under a shady tree, drinking kir royales. Oh yes, unofficial Judge/critique of the Poodle Parade (my Mom's toy poodle, Cocoa Puff is entered this year). He'll be in the celebrity look-alike portion. His specialty is Phil Spector. Do you think he's got a chance?

Heh. I mentioned Bastille Day at work and got blank looks.

I like France. We used to holiday in Menton.

It's my mum's birthday - I think it's damn good of the French to make such a fuss of her special day.

Milwaukee is the City of Festivals. We celebrate every ethnicity here, no one is left out. Next weekend is Festa Italiana, after that is GermanFest, after that is Irish Fest & So on & so forth all summer. :)
