I caught a gopher today
 

I didn't kill him, he was so cute. Against friends recomendations of course...but they are all into gardening and stuff. I tend to kill anything I try to grow in the garden anyway..so it didn't make any sense to me..but I guess they are terrible pests...did I mention how cute the damn thing was?

anyways...I took him down to the canyon..he will be happy there...was a little'un...seemed to take to the new environment.

I miss him now..I named him murray ever since he showed up last night.

I miss murray!

So I caught my first gopher.

I tried to catch a rabbit in my backyard. We put up this fence stuff so that bunnies and such can't eat our flowers and grass. I guess one bunny got stuck on our property. I tried to catch it and make it my new pet.. but it dug a hole and ran away. :(

He looked like this..and I call him He because I can't prove otherwise..and because I named him Murray..

he was super friendly and clean..we thought he might have been somebody's pet until we figured out that he was a gopher!

Sandy: Carl I want you to kill all the gophers on the golf course.
Carl Spackler: Correct me if I'm wrong Sandy, but if I kill all the golfers they'll lock me up and throw away the key.
Sandy: Not golfers, you great fool! Gophers, rodents!
Carl Spackler: We can do that. We don't even need a reason.

I caught a Californian endocrinologist (it was easy, he was sleeping) and held him at the point of my sword until I made him give me back my friend, you sonnavabitch.

i caught a beaver, but i let her go after playing with her for awhile.

I caught a parent talking on her cellphone in the middle of class. I motioned to my students to eavesdrop along with me- easiest minute of teaching ever.

You should have put him in my backyard it is apparently it is a retreat for gophers. They all love my backyard. I have adopted them all as my pets because they WON'tT LEAVE!

I work in the country literally: cornfields and cows. Wildlife is everywhere. We have a rather large hedgehog I call Fuzzy, but I can't catch it. It's too shy. It eats grass but when it sees me it heads for cover.

I caught a buzz. Should sleep well tonight.

I caught some luck and didn't have to sleep over at the home last night.

I caught some bad luck and had to sleep over last night.

We used to have one in our backyard. They call them Woodchucks here. So we named him...Chuck. He became part of the family.

"Chuck was out in the back today, eating some grass"

"Chuck came right up to the house today"

etc.


Then after winter, Chuck emerged from hibernation...w/4 little Chucklings following him...I mean her. lol Her name got changed to Chuckette.


I have a mpeg of a tiny hedgehog trying to copulate with a kitchen sponge, but no idea how to post it.

OMG! That's so funny! Chuckette hahahaha
