*gloat*
I just figured out how to connect my Mac & PC together WITHOUT knocking out my internet connection.
Okay - maybe lots of other people know how to do that... but I feel pretty damn geeky right now. In a good way. :D  *crunches salad gloatily* |
I feel so deprived. I only have a PC.

good for you Lala!

I'm impressed. Are you offering tips? ...like I'm going to get a Mac...
|
ambo: I was converted by Smarty. Macs are SO good. :) But I like having my PC too...
HF: *crunch*! mehehehehehehehe... MB: I wuz takin' liberties ;) red: Thanky! xfox: Well - I was too quick to gloat - when I woke this morning only the direct PC-to-Mac connection was working... I think I have to disable the bridge each time I log off, and then enable it again after allowing my primary internet connection to renew the IP address. :\ Oh well. The goal is to have everything wireless so I won't have to do this... but I gotta buy an Airport card first. This is better than nothing. :) |
Well, gloat with gusto anyway, I say, since you might as well be ordering a corn-beef sandwich in another language for all I can tell.

Yesterday, we finally aquired an RF modulator, so I could get the DVD player hooked up :D Also (obviously) I got the network & 1 computer set up. We saw “Haiku Tunnel.” A really fun film about a guy navigating the world of temp working in San Francisco, and landing himself in a strange situation working in a law office and trying (sort of) to send out some letters - and figure out what he wants. (really!). |
^^^ Well - you're very good at that kind of thing :) I have a high standard to keep up with!!! :D
I want to see that movie with you :o |
