I just saw a news article about a man who created a multimedia device inside of a rock tombstone. Its designed basically to show between 5-7 minutes of film (supplied by the deceased family/friends) that capture the person's life....
for example, any video tape you have of the person at parties, birthdays, trips...whatever.... shows them laughing, enjoying life.. holding grandkids, and whatnot. Basically the idea is when you visit the cemetary to pay homage to the deceased, you push a little button and view this movie of their life, thats on their tombstone. i thought it was kinda neat. |
I'd have more entertainment when I hang out at the cemetery.

Funny you mention it...
I was in the cemetary not too long ago, to visit my dad's grave and afterwards I drove around to look at the various stones, mausoleums, etc. There was this one above-ground tomb... it had what looked like two door bells on it. It was a two person tomb, so I thought maybe there were recordings about the people laying within. A button for each of them. So I put my car in park, jumped out and ran over to "give 'em a ring" and hear their story. Silly me, they were just decorations. I sheepishly got back into my car hoping that the other people driving by in the cemetary had not seen me... and I quietly apologized to the deceased. Then giggled. |
on my tombstone i want a picture of me giving the double gun, with my fingers... as if to say "later sucka's"
but then im reminded of the great robin williams... "when you die i hope they bury you upside down and naked, so ill have a place to park my bicycle" |
I want to be creamated and have my ashes shot out into space.
|
I hear that's actually very affordable - when the cremation container re-enters the earth's atmosphere, you get incinerated all over again and your double-fired ashes get scattered all over the globe!
