I agree with everything that has gone so far: Hobbit, Narnia, Phantom Tollbooth, Lemony Snicket, Dr. Seuss, Harry Potter . . . I would argue that some of those mean MORE to adults than to children.
Brian Jacques: Redwall and the series following. I still love those books, though I haven't bought the last three or so.
