1. pick a book from your shelf at random - one with a manageable title
2. use that book title as your acrostic key phrase
3. using a=1, b=2, etc., assign a number to each letter of the key phrase
4. go to the page number in the book that corresponds with the first letter of your key phrase
5. find the first word on the page that begins with that letter then copy&paste from there to the end of its line or senetnce. that's the first line of the poem
