I'm one of those clumsy people that are always falling, getting hurt, or in the strangest predicaments imaginable. So much so that I often find myself thinking "this is the worst day ever!"

Of course whenever you talk to someone about days (or things) like that, they seem really trival, and then you think "well that wasn't so bad, coulda been worse."

So this is the thread where we can share all those things that go wrong so we can move past them and feel better, and help others feel better also.

I'll go first

Today, as I was walking into the pub to meet my dad and brother for lunch, some lady leaving the restroom slammed the door into my face by mistake. Then I went to give the dogs a bath, and got lik 165,482 misquito bites. I got a few more as I was cleaning the birdcage...plus I cut my thumb because the poop tray slipped out of my hand. Then as I was taking a shower, I fell, resulting in a scrapped leg, sliced hand, a terribly bruised bottom, and a bump on my head. Now I'm about to head out the the grocery store, where someone will steal random things out of my cart, because that what happens to my every week.

I feel much better already...

I just accidentally insulted the person that was offering to help get me a laboratory job next year.

I apologized, but I still felt bad.

Oh well. I probably made the situation much worse in my head.

I just made a pot of coffee without emptying out the coffee from yesterday so it overflowed all over the counter and floor.

i was all excited to get underworld's new album today and i decided at the last second not to download it from itunes. i figured i have the packaging for everything else in their catalog, i should continue down that path. also, i figured i could buy the CD and toss it in the CD player in the car so i could listen to it as i did the rest of my errands.

walked outside and remembered that i'm driving the spouse's car today. which only has a tape deck and an ipod dock.

i ended up cutting my errands short so i could get home and rip the damn thing. i was so worked up about it that i was actually itchy the whole way back.

i got water in both of my ears in the shower about 15 minutes before i was scheduled to do a telephone interview.

i haven't gotten my ears plugged up with water since i was, like, 10. why now??

i keep getting electrical shocks every time i touch a metallic object at work (door handles, guardrails, computer, etc..)

I've been taking alot of zinc recently. Maybe that explains it
