What is "old"??
Recently this word/concept bumped into me quite often and I wonder what it actually means. Although my biz is with numbers, I feel totally unable to attach "old" to some numbers, it's so subjective. The best definition I ever heard was from my granny (71, but feeling most days like 20 she says - with a lot more aches though

Old is when you've lived so long that your brain reboots itself and you start behaving like you were 2 again.

old is when something is advancing towards the end of the average lifespan of said specific object
old can coexist with a lot of other adjectives: old and graceful old and weathered old and nice old and wise |

Thank you for bringing in the positive sides of 'being old'! (which for many people - in the 'highly civilised' Western world at least - are not that outstanding - including myself unfortunately... ) |

I also think it's a case by case thing. I know some people well into their 90 that are so active, healthy, and full of life that there is no way I can consider them old. At the same time I know 50 yr. olds that are the completely deteriorating. The same could be said of different objects. I think "old" is just a perception based on the energy that radiates from people and objectes.
