I have 2 yards of this

and I want to make something, but I'm bored of making bags, not great at making tops, and I have a ton of skirts.
Any thoughts?

pillow cases & matching wall decoration
apron & pot holders
bag for frieda

or

you could make a decoration from it and sew it on a top

Even if you're not great at making tops, this kind is really easy to make and would work with that fabric. You should give it a go.

if you make a bag for Frieda, you hafta make one for me, btw...

What kind?

I recommend the Cape of Good Hope.

Or something like this:

Takes a lot of fabric, but it wouldn't be hard, especially the top right version. Getting the lining straight is hard sometimes...use lots of pins.

I asked a co-worker and she said a head band. I just walked out the room. I need something time consuming, not a 5 min project.

I like the second top down, and the first one.

^You know, you could adhere it to a big canvas and hang the sucker on the wall, as Frieda suggested. I think that would kick home decor ass.
