I'm either going to a party or staying home to watch "Fellowship" and "Two Towers" back to back... weighing heavily on the latter...
I'm looking forward more to the New Year's *Day* party the next day...

What a great idea!
I got both of those (extended versions) on DVD and I haven't seen them yet.
I just saw ROTK last night.
Very, very cool army of the dead.

my bug and I will be hanging out, playing with his brand spankin' new set o' Playdough. Glass of sparkly will be provided by the root beer I'm bringing over.

my date is much younger than me, but at least he'll give me a new year's mooch before tucking him in.

I'll be at a NY eve party...sort a rare for me. I usually do the watch a movie or read a book routine.
and even a day after party...making art/collage projects with friends...sounded like kind of fun way to recover from a hangover.

hmmm...maybe I'm not nerd enough?...how are you watching "movies" together online??? and how is the playback quality on your connections? details please details.

I think I did enough New Years Eve partying in my past to last me (and prob. a few of you) a lifetime and being the old poop that I am now, I avoid the holiday drinkers on the road now.

Staying home w/my kids, playing Pictionary and answering the same question from my 7yr 583 times, "How long until 12:00a?" Then banging pots out the front door and listening to gun shots

Is my life glamorous or what?!

Yeah!! Magpie and I lead the lives of glamour, sophistication, playdough under the nails and banged-up pots.

You have a blast also.
