The series was a lot closer than the final results show I think. It could have easily gone the other way. Bu-ut, next stop the Conference Championships! Woo-hoo! |

The encouraging thing was the sportsmanship shown. Kind of gives you hope for the sports world after all. Montreal played it out like true professionals, and the game ended on a friendly note.
Unlike the debacle that unfolded at the end of last night's Red Wings - Flames game. But Detroit won, and that's all I care about there. Stupid farkers Calgary, playing the empty net option to get more scorers out there -- it was a predictable slaughter, and their own damn fault, but that didn't stop 'em slamming into Cujo and trying to start mayhem.... Oh, well -- we all know who won.  |
