One Giant Step For Becki-kind...

I saw the Dreamers...and if you remember any of my claims, you'll know I've just seen something that isn't Jesus.

Also, God help me if I ever meet Louis Garrel...yow.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is it? Movie?
Give us a review!
Or, I could get off my lazy butt and look it up at Google. Think I'll go do that...

Ah!
Bernardo Bertolucci. Must be a good film if it's one of his.
See if you can find Little Buddha. Very good, although I had trouble thinking of Keanu Reeves as Gautama Buddha...

I've seen Little Budda.

But I have to say, The Dreamers is NOTHING like Little Budda.

And for Daverbee...lets just say the movie is actually rated NC-17...and for some reason or other, the box I held in my hands sttd is was R.

sometimes major video rental chains (like blockbuster) get censored versions of movies. I can't remember the name of the movie I rented, but it was "unrated" at a mon n' pop store and it was pretty graphic and raunchy, then at blockbuster it was rated "R" and a lot of the sceens where cut out.

wow. that made no sense. i know what i meant though.

i liked it except for the main character

absolutely everything he did annoyed me, and i felt embarrassed for the characters when they interacted with him

worth renting, though

that means they censored it to make it R. they did that to my darling ichi the killer...cut out 15 MINUTES of torture scenes and for some reason a scene in a noodle shop that added plot development that had nothing wrong with it at all. whatever. i gots me the UNRATED version on the computer.
