Today Florida is weak Kerry.
my, my, my how things change. I have no idea why Florida would be for Kerry, They hate Jeb Bush? I dunno. I am sad Texas is strong Bush. It's so disappointing, but there are a lot of oil and gas people here. I love this link. It's very interesting to see the change from week to week. |

Speculating, perhaps FL is ranked as weak Kerry, because though it's primarily Bush country, there's a concerted effort there to drive democratic voters who were "disenfranchised" in the last election to the polls this time.
I think they expect a larger than usual dem turnout, and added scrutiny to the legitimacy of the vote counting. Just a guess.

Did you see in the paper that this tactic (a shadow group tells some incredibly damaging lie or twisting of truth; GW distances himself and says he 'wants to take the high road;' and people see him as the good, noble guy while the lie sticks to his opponent) was successfuly employed by the Bush camp more than once before? Not just the more-publicized attack on McCain, but I just read that it was credited with unseating Ann Richards in his TX race for guv. ![]()

One of our national broadcasters has a call in for people listening OS via the net. They asked for americans to ring in with their views on Sept 11. A caller from Washington State rang and said that he felt that the lean to the left on the West coast was a reflection of their lack of involvement in the attacks - ie the planes took off, crashed and had destinations on the east coast.
Any comments or insight?
