Post Bedtime Stories

Once upon a time, there was a pretty woolen sock. The sock, and its companion, had been a christmas gift to a little girl named Margaret, who lived in an apartment with her mom and dad and her brother Maximillion. One day, Margaret’s mom got a new job and the whole family had to move far away to a new house.

The process of moving was so arderous and exhausting, nobody realized until a month later that the left sock was left behind.

Nobody, that is, except for the sock.

Most little socks left alone, would be terrified. After all, they are only socks, but this sock became consumed with rage. He vowed to hunt down the family that abandoned him.

"I will make them pay! They will all pay darn (no pun intended hee) it" He screamed.

The sock began inching along the floor, furious with thoughts of retribution for his abandonment. Eventually, he reached the door. Now all he had to do was wait until someone opened the door to look at the apartment. Then he could sneak out!

(aside: is this one long collaborative bedtime story, or a collection of various ones?)

if this one gets boring or you have another idea, just start a different story. Each new story is collaborative.

Suddenly a prospective new tennant aproached the door with the real estate lady.
The sock bunched itself up tight all ready to spring out the door when what should walk in...but the prettiest pair of mismatched socks he had ever seen, and one of them looked like his sole mate. (Pun intended)

"I think I have seen you before," the little sock said to the lovely mismatched socks, "Do you have a twin?"

"Yes," she said, "There is a pair at home just like me."

Just then a pair of Hoes butted in and asked the socks if they wanted a date. The socks saw right through them. They were Controlling, from the Top to the Toe.

The socks turned back to the pretty mismatched pair.
