ZeBoard RECAP Thread

This is the thread that we first visit after being gone for a while. (This will minimize the redundant questions and embarrassing statements made in other threads after topics and issues have long since been answered, resolved, and/or forgotten - especially if you're lazy like me, and don't feel like spending the next four hours reading through aaaaaall the old threads to see what you've missed.)

Spicy - have you posted a picture of your banner-licking escapade yet?

Funky - how did your Thanksgiving go? Good, I hope.

Smarty - have you left for Europe yet? I hope you have a blast!

NYC - are you back yet??

Anything new, exciting, interesting, or scandelous happen in the past week or so??

My family reunion thread is short and interesting. (I think so, at least.)

I don't want to imply that I won't get to all the threads eventually. I will. I just want a Cliff's Notes version of the ZeBoard happenings for right now.

We had thanksgiving at home. I was sick so the turkey was dry and ordinary because I couldn't put much time into it.

A different friend came over with her son. Her husband was off in Sweden (finland?) grilling some poor grad student there with questions during a doctorate defense so her boy and Little Funky played trains while I coughed and hacked on the couch.

Mrs still hangs out with the snubby chicks. They had a particularly high-stress thanksgiving--it's probably better that we didn't go over there cause we wouldn't have had fun. Kids apparently don't fit particularly well into their "vision" of thanksgiving which seems to include Cheese Courses and modest behaviour. We're much more go-with-the-flow kinds of parents. Why set your kids up for failure like that?

Or maybe we would have been the calming force in the room that makes everything better. I guess we'll never know.

Sounds like it turned out good in the end (except for you being sick!!). It's nice that you guys were able to share your Thanksgiving with someone who needed your company.

I had a drink with the good dr. DC a few weeks ago. He told me that he would come back when zen did what she promised to do. Whatever that might be...
