See, to me, this is not really winter, when you still have swans and can ride bicycles. In our winter, all water is frozen solid and you have to be pretty much out of your mind to try outdoor sports. I like your winter -- less of the wasteland aspect to it.

today a year ago it was 17c and sunny! that's why it's so weird to have all this snow! in the middle of the country it was -20,5 during the night last week, the lowest temp in march ever..
