thanks Moel. not really back yet, still have a 12 hour train trip ahead of me. but since i have another hour before we leave for the depot and i am negative flat broke, i thought i'd check up to see whatchall were up to.

can't wait to post the pics and vids i got on the trip. woo hoo.

well, on the way back from Colorado, as we were snaking our way down the mountains in the deep, dark night, a sleeper car jumped the track and was derailed. we spend a nice chunk of the trip sitting in the dark with no power waiting for the car to be removed from the train, for the train to be put back together, and for the attendants to find all the people missing after the ordeal was over.

thank heavens for Captain Morgan. he saved the night.

then, because we lost so much time , the conductor sped the rest of the way, making the journey very bumpey. so every five minutes i was awoken from my slumber thinking we were tumbling over the business end of a very large cliff.

but i arrived safely so i guess the trip was good.
