They are out of the way so I can't tell you exactly where they are, that would ruin the fun of finding them.

Mama's PoBoy's - Kirby at Richmond in a strip center on the north side. Family owned, and the best Falafal in town.

Last Concert Cafe - Nance St. across from our studio, mexican food (Mama's Plate and a Dos XX with cure any hangover) great patio, ice cold beer. You have to knock twice on the door to get in, (used to be a house of ill repute). Bands 5-6 nights a week.

Lankford Grocery - Dennis St. South of Taft. Tiny, grocery/ice house with awesome - giant hamburgers, sit at a picnic table outside and enjoy the weather.
