I have a weight problem, and this has touched me.

I was talking with someone the other day and mentioned that I was fat. As if it were mathematical, she said, "Don't say such awful things about yourself" etc etc.

Well, I don't see thin people being told that if they say they are skinny. Why should I dance around the fact that I am indeed overweight? And why so, does the stature of my body have to be offending? It's how I take it, isn't it?

Granted, I may be fat, but that doesn't mean I'm any less beautiful.
